After my last oil change, oil keeps coming out at my drain plug in little drips. What can I do to solve this?

Several reasons can cause this: 1- Drain plug not in tight. 2- Drain plug was cross threaded when put back so that it is impossible to get tight. 3- Dirt between pan and drain plug causing it not to seal properly. 4- If drain plug has washer seal, it may be worn out. If Drain plug is not just loose then the plug will need to be removed and checked to see what the problem is. Remember that when the plug is removed the oil comes out so this would need to be done as part of an oil change.

Try to tighten it a little if you don't feel much stop it is striped. Look at threads your finger nail should be able to easily follow it around and have defined threads. If not buy anew one. Don't be cheap with this I have found many poorly made ones in popular auto parts stores. Try dealer if you can't tell.Try new gasket if old looks good. ood.some cars like Toyota want new gasket each change.
