Occasional ball of Blue smoke on high revolutions
Hi there. Hope you guys can help with an answer although its not leak related. I hardly ever drive my car hard, but every now and then i go through the gears changing at / - 6000rpm. This happens about once a month so i dont drive the car lazy, but the last time i did this a big ball of blue smoke came out my exhaust (engine was warm already) fir like 20 seconds and then stopped. I stopped, accelerated hard again and no smoke came out, even if i leave the car to idle for 30 mins and give at a few small revs up to 3500 rpm, no smoke. What could have happened? Its a 1.6 2011 Ford Ikon petrol Duratec engine, any advice for me please? Tiaan
